Salons & Spas
Web design and branding for
salons and spas.
Your salon's website is where a new client decides whether to book or keep scrolling. If your site is a basic page with your phone number and a stock photo, or if it's buried inside a booking platform with no personality, you're competing on convenience alone. The salon two miles away with better photos and a clear brand will get the appointment.
Vagari Creative builds brands and websites for salons and spas in Buffalo that look as considered as the experience you're offering.
What we build for salons and spas
The package depends on where you're starting, but a typical salon project includes:
- Brand identity: logo, color palette, typography, voice
- Custom website with online booking integration
- Service menu design (digital and print)
- Brand guide so your social media, signage, and marketing all match
- Google Business Profile optimization
Why salons need custom branding
Salon owners invest in their physical space: the lighting, the products, the music, the way the chairs are arranged. Then they hand their digital presence to a booking platform and call it a website. The gap between the in-person experience and the online experience is where you lose first-time clients.
A custom brand and website bridges that gap. It shows a potential client what walking into your space feels like before they've left their couch.

Bodhi Lotus: building a brand before the space existed
Lauren came to us before she had a lease, before she had a chair, before there was a physical salon to photograph or point people to. She had a concept, and it was specific: a salon where the experience started the moment you walked in, not the moment someone touched your hair. Reiki, aromatherapy, tailored scents, an environment designed around relaxation as a first principle. The cut or the color was part of it, not the center of it.
The challenge was that her future clientele skewed toward people who had been going to traditional salons for years, a mix of ages, mostly from conventional backgrounds. "Bodhi Lotus" meant something to Lauren, but it wouldn't mean anything to them on first contact. So the brand had to do that translation work before the doors opened.
We built everything around the word relaxation. Not "Reiki" as a service category, not "holistic wellness" as a tagline. Relaxation is what Reiki is, and it's what inspired every other decision: the color palette, the lotus mark, the photography direction, the way the site moves between hair services and healing services without treating either one as an add-on. A visitor doesn't need to know what Reiki is to understand what walking into this salon will feel like.
The site has brought in new clients who found Bodhi Lotus through search, and Lauren still gets compliments on it from people sitting in her chair. That second part matters more than the first, because it means the site is doing what the physical space does: making people feel like they're somewhere considered, somewhere that was built with intention, not assembled from a template.

If your website doesn't reflect the experience you've built in person, let's fix that.
